Netflix has released the trailer for On Behalf of My Son. Rejane Faria plays retired teacher Vicentina, who seeks out families affected by the bus crash that killed her son, its driver.
Gabriel Martins directs the Filmes de Plástico production. Its Rio Film Festival premiere is scheduled for October 9, 2026, followed by selected Brazilian cinemas on November 5 and Netflix on November 20. The cinema date concerns Brazil, not a confirmed German theatrical release.
