More than 400 emerging filmmakers attended the third Creative Asia event, organised by Netflix with the Busan International Film Festival. Netflix published its recap on October 10.
Cinematographer Kim Ji-yong discussed his work on Lee Chang-dong’s Possible Love. Director Han Jun-hee addressed developing projects such as D.P. and Weak Hero Class for international audiences.
The programme added small-group workshops with Netflix executives on commissioning decisions and pilot development. Other panels examined locations, independent-film distribution and AI in production.
