Netflix has announced a documentary about Marta and begun filming. Directed by Eliza Capai and produced by Conspiração Filmes, it follows the Brazilian footballer as she prepares for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil, which she intends to make her last.
The film will also examine her career and influence on women's football. A Netflix premiere date has not been announced; the tournament date should not be mistaken for the documentary's release date.
