The 70th BFI London Film Festival begins on Wednesday, October 7, and runs until October 18. The official programme offers films, series and immersive work, with events in London and screenings around the UK.
Sam Pollard heads the Official Competition jury, selecting the Best Film Award. Amir El-Masry leads the first-feature jury, Sandhya Suri the documentary jury and Helen Simmons the short-film jury. The BFI announced those appointments on September 30.
