Puedes Contar Conmigo will build an original romantic musical around songs by La Oreja de Van Gogh, Variety reports. Fernando González Molina directs and co-writes with Miguel López Martínez; the band is involved as executive producers.
Producer Domingo Corral told El País that the project remains in development and scriptwriting. It is an original story using the repertoire, rather than a biography of the band. No cast or release date has been announced. The news is the project itself, not the start of filming.
