The Devil’s Plan: Dead Again will premiere worldwide on Netflix on November 10. The third season of the Korean strategy competition brings together 16 players, including returning contestants and newcomers. Netflix has released a main cast poster and teaser for the new season.
Two previous winners return: Ha Seok-jin, champion of the first season, and Jeong Hyun-gyu, who won the second, Death Room. Kim Dong-jae from season one is also back. Other players bring experience from competitive television, poker, music and puzzle solving. Netflix names Jang Dongmin, Hong Jinho, Oh Hyunmin, SHINDONG, John Park and Stella Jang among the 16.
Producer Jung Jong-yeon again leads the series. Netflix describes Dead Again as a contest that brings back competitors who have already been eliminated from television competitions. Season two, Death Room, used a space-themed setting; the new season’s individual games have yet to be revealed.
Returning champions enter with reputations and proven experience of The Devil’s Plan. New players from other formats have the chance to disrupt that hierarchy. That clash gives the announced lineup its appeal before the first puzzle is played.
