Apple TV has released the trailer for Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook, an eight-episode documentary series premiering worldwide on November 6. Nora Lum, known as Awkwafina, sets out to revive her family’s Chinese restaurant despite having little cooking experience.
The journey includes training at the Culinary Institute of America, Texas barbecue with Jimmy O. Yang and encounters with Roy Choi and Martin Yan. The series builds towards an opening night with her grandmother among the diners.
