Netflix has announced a fictional miniseries inspired by the Daniel Sancho case. Martiño Rivas will star, with filming due to begin soon in Thailand and Spain.
Bambú Producciones is producing the project, with Ramón Campos as executive producer. The series remains untitled, and Netflix has not announced a release date.
The project dramatises the case that attracted public attention in 2023. It is a scripted production, separate from the platform’s documentary coverage of criminal cases.
